Scholarly work regarding record linkage technologies and simulated data creation. Scholarly work will include but not be limited to journal articles, conference and workshop presentations, and academic course materials.\r\n\r\nExpected Outcomes:\r\nWork performed will advance the ability to experiment with record linkage methodologies and technologies by providing an experimental platform and large simulated data set. The award recipients will release each of the development tools early in the award period and then incrementally improve both in conversation with the Census Bureau and other users to better meet the needs of the entire research community with the final product.\r\n\r\nIntended Beneficiaries:\r\nRecord linkage practitioners and researchers needing to deploy record linkage to advance their work in areas such as sociology, economics, and public health analysis will benefit from these tools as they will enable collaboration across institutions, which has been hampered by the inability to share private and confidential large data sets outside of specific protected research enclaves. These practitioners will also benefit from the modular pipeline?s ability to enable research on specific aspects of record linkage within the infrastructure of the modular record linkage platform.
